Qlucore newsletter: Script and streamline analysis workflows

The Python-based scripting possibilities in Qlucore Omics Explorer, known as Templates, make workflow streamlining easy and support customized data import.

One of the great things about Templates in Qlucore Omics Explorer is that they are started from within the program, meaning that you do not have to be skilled in scripting to use them. Another important aspect is that Templates can be used for data import, calculations, and setting up visualizations and plots.

A suite of example Templates developed by Qlucore is included with the program. These provide the user with easy access to data such as TCGA. They also work as a starting point for users who would like to develop their own templates.

Templates do not only help the individual user but also provide value on an organizational level. An organization can develop its Templates to streamline workflows and import data in specialized formats. Scripting also enables the organization to save time, share the same Templates to all users and ensure that the same steps are taken for different data sets.
